THE CREW - RAY POWELL
|
 Ray has been involved in the competition scene since 1988. Over the years he has won the QLD State Championships and also many other championships.
Blue water hunting is Rays specialty and he has won the International Blue water freediving classic held in Coffs Harbour and also finished a respectable fourth position in Portugal against some of the worlds best blue water hunters.
Ray has also represented Australia in Portugal, Greece and New Zealand. He has also dived extensively around the world in places such as Italy, Great Britain, USA, Torres Strait, and the Coral Sea.
He loves chasing Spanish Mackerel, Wahoo and Jew fish. Some of his best fish to date are a 33Kg Jewfish, 30Kg Wahoo, 35Kg Kingfish, 10.5Kg Snapper, 15.6Kg Mangrove jack and 15Kg Job fish to name a few.
